Membership of the Society is open to all persons interested in the promotion of railway modelling and its practices...
Types of Membership
| Full Adult | - | those over the age of 18 years |
| Junior | - | those over the age of 12* and attending full time education, up to the age of 18 |
| Student | - | those over the age of 18 and attending full time education or serving an apprenticeship |
| Senior Citizen | - | those over the age of 65 years |
| Honorary | - | on the recommendation of the committee, those who have given outstanding service to the Society or the model railway hobby. Persons proposed for Honorary Membership will be approved or otherwise at an AGM |
* Younger age group children are encouraged but only with a parent who has interests in model railways. Any teenager must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have written parental acceptance to attend evening meetings
Every effort will be made to ensure teenagers are supervised in accordance with safety policies as advised by educational and recreational bodies

Become a Member
Any person wishing to become a member may do so after three attendances. Membership runs from January through December but those wishing to join during the year will be asked to pay a pro-rata fee. On joining, all members will be issued with a copy of the Constitution.
Membership includes full use of the Society's facilities at Leigh Court each and every day throughout the year, excluding Christmas and New Year. We are subject to the conditions as expressed in our lease and we should respect those terms and conditions at all times
Visitors are more than welcome but we respectfully ask you to contact the Membership Secretary or one of the other contact numbers shown on the Contact Page to ensure someone is there to greet you and give you a guided tour of our club room. Please ensure when parking that you are not blocking a delivery / dispatch bay. They are used during the evening.
